Gatheroly stores account, event, guest, and RSVP information that you or your guests provide so we can run your event websites and dashboards.
When a host turns on Find my photos, photos uploaded to that event — the hero, gallery, and venue photos on the invitation and approved photos on the event social page — are read by automated face-recognition tools (currently AWS Rekognition). We do this so a guest can upload a selfie, see photos of their face, and download those photos. The selfie is compared once and is not saved. Face data for that event is removed when the host turns the feature off or when a photo is removed. Private notes meant only for the hosts are not scanned. We do not sell face data, and we do not use it to identify anyone outside that event.
We use email delivery (Resend) for login details, RSVP alerts, and demo request notifications. Google sign-in uses Firebase Authentication when you choose that option. Hosting and databases are provided by our infrastructure partners (currently Vercel and Neon).
We do not sell personal data. Access to a client workspace is limited to the Gatheroly owner, the assigned vendor (if any), and invited client members. Guests who RSVP share only what they enter on the public form.
To request access or deletion of personal data associated with your account or event, see Contact & support.
